Repair Your Algebra Foundation
$2.99 · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
New! Designed in the college classroom with the specific skills needed to help you succeed at Algebra. Includes help videos and practice problems to master your skills.
Learn Algebra by doing. Active Algebra Essentials was designed to help algebra students who need some repair to their algebra foundation. Often our system of math education pushes students on even when the foundational skills of algebra haven't made sense. You can't build a house on a bad foundation and the same is true for higher mathematics. Take some time to fix the foundation and find understanding in math that you've never had before. The app takes an active learning approach to help you self-discover and genuinely understand the key concepts of algebra. The app includes practice problem generators which allow for repeated practice and which give instant feedback.
Designed by a college math lecturer, the app is modeled on the active learning approach used in the classroom.
• Hands-on learning activities with immediate feedback.
• A video walkthrough of each activity as well as a traditional lecture video.
• A practice section in every lesson that generates new problems each time.
Use it as a tutoring tool for a fraction of the cost of a tutoring session, or just teach yourself the foundations of algebra. Ideal for any student of any age who is ready to fix their algebra foundation. There are no in-app purchases and no paywalls. One purchase gets you the whole course.
Topics include: Foundations, Solving Equations, Relations, and Factoring.
The entire app exists only on your phone. There are no online accounts, no ads, and the app collects no personal data.
