A cleaner result screen. Your add-on now opens on four numbered steps: Put it in your game, Make it better, What's inside and How to play. Make it better, in one place. Add a related item (up to 3 things in one add-on) sits next to one Customize button: type a change (uses gems), or edit the name and stats for free. Each thing inside has its own Repaint and Edit recipe. Free gems every day: a daily bonus of 2 gems, plus up to 2 optional ads a day for 3 gems each. A new darker look, and small fixes and improvements.

Add a related item. Grow your add-on one piece at a time: add something that works with what you made, like ammo for a blaster or matching boots. Each add-on holds up to 3 things. Change one thing. Pick the item and type what you want different, like "make it glow." Only that item is rebuilt, so everything else stays exactly as it was. Name it your way. Tap the pen next to your add-on's name to call it anything you like. Easier to find. Repaint and Edit recipe are now big gold buttons on every item, and when you repaint you can pick Blocky or Realistic (Plus). Better guns. Guns and launchers now fire their own shots and look right in your hand. Saved automatically. Everything you make goes straight into Your add-ons. Delete removes the ones you don't want. A quick tour. New players get a short tour that shows what each button does. Tap How it works on the home screen to see it again.

Free gems from ads. In Get Gems you can now watch a short ad for 3 free gems, up to 3 times a day. Ads only play when you tap — never on their own — and they aren't personalized. The daily bonus is still there too. A clearer welcome. New players now see how it works in three steps: describe it, forge it, play it. Ideas for your add-on. Under every creation you'll now find ideas made for it, like "Sets mobs on fire" for a sword or "Bounce pad" for a block. Tap one and Change something opens with the request written out for you. Nothing is spent until you tap Update. Simpler looks. Blocky is now always 128px, the sharpest pixel art, with nothing to pick. Realistic has two named choices: Detailed or Max (Plus). Clearer buttons. Customize and Change something now say what each one does, and Basic / Advanced is now called Mode. Stay up to date. The app now lets you know when a newer version is ready on the App Store.

Pick your look. Choose Blocky — crisp, chunky pixel art at 64 or 128px — or Realistic — smooth, detailed HD textures at 256 or 512px (Plus). Sharper pixel art. Blocky textures are now built pixel by pixel instead of being shrunk down from a larger image, so they come out crisp — no more blur. Tools and weapons sit right in your hand. Swords, pickaxes and other held items are now painted on the same diagonal vanilla tools use, so they no longer look rotated when you hold them. Clean edges on held items. Stray pixels around an item's outline no longer show up as a coloured rim. Small fixes and polish.
