Clean hidden marks from AI text before you paste it into an email, document, CRM or CMS. Aftertype gives you a quick checkpoint between an AI chat and the place where the draft will be used. Share text from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot or another app, review the cleaned version and send it on. Clean up the paste Copied text can contain hidden marks, unusual spaces and punctuation that does not match the way you normally write. Aftertype removes supported hidden marks and lets you choose how dashes, quotes, ellipses and spaces should look. Choose what changes Compare the original with the cleaned text before using it. Keep or turn off any punctuation change, edit the original and save custom replacements for names, phrases or characters you fix often. From chat to where you work • Open text from the Share menu or clipboard • Compare the original and cleaned versions before copying • Save up to 20 custom replacements • Copy the result or send it through the Share menu • Work with drafts up to 100,000 characters Your text stays on your phone Text cleanup runs on your device and works offline. The text you paste is not uploaded for processing or included in analytics or ad requests. Aftertype checks supported hidden marks and optional punctuation changes. Hidden marks can also come from websites and word processors, so finding one does not prove who wrote the text. Statistical AI watermark removal works differently because it requires changes to word choice. It is planned for the next version; join the in-app waitlist to hear when it is ready. The current version does not promise a particular AI-detector score.
