Xcode shows "Idle" while your agents build, test and take screenshots. Agent Activity shows the builds, the failing tests, the previews — live, per agent, on your Mac. Your AI coding agents build, test and screenshot inside Xcode all day. Xcode's own view of that is one line: "Idle". Agent Activity reads what the agents leave on disk — transcripts, build logs, test summaries, previews — and shows it as a live timeline, one per session. WHAT YOU SEE • Sessions — Claude Code from the terminal or spawned by Xcode 27, headless runs included. Codex, Antigravity and Xcode's own chat are read from Xcode's conversation store: they appear when Xcode saves the conversation, without build cards. • Builds — each build attributed to the session that triggered it, errors and warnings parsed into a file:line list. Build #9, 16 errors, fixes, build #10, green. • Tests — results per run, by target, passed or failed, with the file. Agent-triggered test runs leave no result bundle in DerivedData; this is the only place they show up. • Screenshots and previews — every SwiftUI preview an agent rendered and every simulator screenshot it took, with the UI tree beside it. • Permissions — which agents Xcode trusts (signing identity and team), which folders they may touch, and a banner when the unsafe "allow all agents" flag is on or an agent's workspace is outside those folders. HOW IT WORKS No account, no server of ours. What it reads stays in its own database on your Mac. No transcript, message or build-log content, project name or path from your projects leaves your Mac, except: usage events and crash reports can carry the name of a record type the app doesn't recognize yet (its first 60 characters); a crash report can carry the app's install path, which names your macOS account if it's in your home folder; and a crash report carries the crash's error message, whose text the app can't control when macOS or a library raised it. It asks once — Share or Don't share — before sending anything, and keeps asking in its main window until you answer. The answer sets two switches, keyed to this installation, that Settings → Diagnostics keeps independent: usage events to Google Analytics, crash reports and session events to Firebase. It never asks for your name or e-mail. Privacy policy: le-max-app.com/apps/agent-activity/privacy. It is sandboxed and asks for the folders it reads; whatever you allow, that part works. It never launches, stops or controls an agent. REQUIREMENTS macOS 26, Xcode 27 and a Mac with Apple silicon. Live status is inferred from file activity. Made by one developer who got tired of not seeing agent test results.
