Description

AiR Listen connects you to your space through a 3D model of sound, in a way similar to experiencing synesthesia. Feel your space or voice as you watch the beautiful 3D model of your space and voice converge into 3 dimensional color.

Listen uses your iPhone's microphone to create a 3D helical visualization of the sounds around you.

By playing an instrument, singing or speaking into Listen, you can see the individual sound frequencies which make up the 'timbre' of your voice or instrument.

Note: you will be able to see your own voice or instrument best when using Listen in a quiet environment.

To adjust the microphone sensitivity, tap on the LISTEN logo in the lower right hand corner of the display, and adjust the sensitivity slider.

AIR is an acronym for "Artistic Interactive Rendering"

windy teacher ,

Love this app!!!

This app has been great in my music classroom. My students loved when I sang pitches going up and down and seeing how the direction of the circle changed. Great for students trying match pitches. Shows if you are flat or sharp to the pitch. Great with Kinder’s who are experiencing their speaking and singing voices.

I absolutely love this app! Hopefully its future updates will include Hertz and Amplitude information.
