Morning™ Alarm Clock & Music 4+

I’m giving 4 stars for my experience with the app before the podcast ‘functionality’ was added. Putting on one song that repeated over & over woke me up, but got annoying. I sprung for the subscription and being able to wake up to a playlist or album was great. But what I really wanted was my podcasts & I was delighted when I saw that feature was added. Unfortunately it just doesn’t work very well. It is very rare that I get the podcast I selected. Occasionally I get a weird random song that isn’t even in my ‘liked’ list, but mostly there is silence. Later, I notice in my notifications: “Morning: Error- context failed”. I really want this to work, not just because I paid for it but it also has the potential to make my mornings So. Much. Better. Please help.

Hello there! There must be a problem with the connection or with the new update on your device. Have you already tried to reinstall? Please do it and test the alarm. I have been using this app for over a year. It has helped me shift my waking time from 7:30 to 5:30, and really sets my day up to be a good one. I love how the sound builds up slowly, gently pulling me out of sleep.
What I don’t love is my backup alarm waking me up instead. This alarm frequently does not go off, regardless of how careful I am to set it the night before. If it is a user issue, I would love to know so I can change something. However, I see others are having the same issue.
So, for now, four stars. Still worth it enough to hope that I will be awoken by the sweet sound of whatever song I had selected the night before. Once this issue is fixed, I will give it a glowing 5 stars.

I’ve been using this app for over a year now and I’ve greatly enjoyed waking up to my favorite songs, gold star for that! However there’s been two problems. One, when you close out of the app (for example, to put on sleep music before going back into the app) it makes your screen go black for seconds at a time. And two, the lil fall asleep thing (rain sounds, white noise, etc.) just don’t play for some reason :( Update: I waited for like three minutes this time and the fall asleep thing did actually start playing, that’s a bit long of a wait but yay anyway :D Update 2: Tried switching to another noise and now nothing’ll play again :(
