I have opened this app 5-6 days a week, every week, for approximately 13 months. I am an end client on the Altruist platform, but also an advisor on the platform, so I regularly log in as any end client would to review my personal accounts and experience the app the way that they do. First and foremost, the app is incredibly stable. It loads quickly, with accurate information and functionality, at any hour of any day. This may seem like a given these days, but it is not, and it is the most important feature of any app with critically important information in my view. Second, the layout and ease of use is excellent. And finally, Altruist is constantly making improvements, adding information, and incorporating end-user feedback to improve the app.

App is very poor. Lacks detail. Does not show price changes during the day. Looks like it was designed by people who are good at technology, but have very little Financial experience. It gives very little information, and is not very useful. The website is slightly better, but you cannot access the website from the mobile app. Suggest they look at the apps at Charles Schwab or Wells Fargo to see what a financial app should look like. Very disappointed.

Altruist won’t let you access your accounts on a mobile device or tablet. Instead, they require you to download an app. Why? Because they want more of your data. This app is capable of collecting much more of your data, more than is collected from a website. If you don’t like their app’s data collection, you can’t access your data about your money unless on a desktop.They clearly don’t value our privacy, and I look forward to moving my entire portfolio away from Altruist after the end of the year.I thought they were going to be different, but it’s just more of the same. So disappointed. More fat cats taking advantage of the working class.

This app really does need dark mode, please! My eyes are burning!Also, when adding a linked bank account manually, please make the app so that it does not erase all the information that you typed whenever your phone gets some kind of alert and also enable it so that you can paste in account information from the clipboard. That would make Going through this process a lot easier.
