Aluratek Smart Frame 4+

This is a terrible product. If you try to use a usb it works but overheats. If you try to use the internet route using your pc only allows for five pics max to get downloaded before shutting down in error. Same issue when trying to transfer via phone and your lucky if they save to the device or app at all. Checked to see if it was my WiFi. My WiFi is not the problem. Trying to transfer pictures in general using this app or the picture frame device is terrible. It would serve better as a table weight than anything picture related. Extremely disappointed in this garbage product returning now.

I was setting the frame up for a Christmas gift and while yes, the text in the boxes is hard to read ... it didn’t keep me from quickly and easily setting up an app account and getting the frame set up. The transfer from the app works seamlessly. I’m very happy with this function. I have been unable to get the email delivery of photos set up at this point but can understand, based on the reviews and the fact that it’s Christmas that the company is likely overwhelmed. Being a small business owner, myself, I can sympathize. As a work around until the email function is resolved, I’ve set up family members as users on their own apps and bound the device to their app. This works if anyone is having issues ... hopefully the email function is fixed quickly. Overall I am not unhappy, will not be returning the frame and look forward to purchasing another one for myself. Hopefully this helps get through the holidays! Merry Christmas!

I bought this for my grandmother, and set it up in under 10 minutes. I have an iPhone X, and I was able to see the text that I was typing- not sure what the deal was with others. I panicked when I saw the reviews, but I already had a backup plan in mind- type the text on the Notepad app, copy, and paste in this app. I wasn’t going to fail with this gift!!!
My frame ID was SIX letters, and my confirmation was six NUMBERS.
I can only send nine pictures at once from my phone, but they quickly load on the frame. Grandma doesn’t have WiFi, so the new pics did not load until I used my Personal Hotspot as WiFi, and connected her frame. They came in as fast as text messages. I’m happy with my purchase, and the app!!!!
