Just checking it out
I’ve just tried out a few free apps to try finding one with a face I like. The search continues: I’ll have to pay for a really neat one. But for free? Why not- I wouldn’t pay for the ability to pick one color over another on a basic, boring dial.
Desk Clock
Very nice app, I like that you can see the analog and digital clock on the screen at the same time, and that they also include the day of the week, with the date and year too. Very well thought out application. It would be super cool if you could adjust the fonts to fonts you have, and add background images of yours as well. But overall a great job, the best one I have seen.
Not good at all
I really dislike the non-sweeping minute hand. It’s inaccurate and I can’t use it to set mechanical clocks. Except when it hits the hour, it is literally always up to 59 seconds off. All the clock face choices are terrible, so why buy the app? Nothing resembling a real clock. All just random images that have nothing to do with anything. It seems written by someone who sort of knows how to program things but has zero artistic ability and zero knowledge or interest in timekeeping. This is lazy and not worth paying for.
