iPhone
Your camera already recorded which lens made every frame. AperFolio reads it, on your device, and shows you what you actually shoot with. No account. Nothing uploaded.
Your camera already wrote it down.
Every photograph you have taken carries a record of the body and lens that made it. AperFolio reads that record — on your device, from your own library — and turns it into the story of how you actually shoot.
WHAT IT TELLS YOU
• Which lens you truly reach for, and what share of your work came through it
• The bodies and lenses in your bag, ranked by frames rather than by what you paid for them
• The focal lengths and apertures you keep returning to
• What has been sitting in the bag unused, and for how long
THE EXHIBITION
Your photographs set as a justified wall, every frame keeping its own proportions. Filter by camera, by lens, by year, by favourites, or by the ones you have written something about.
THE ATLAS
A map of where the work was made, with the path between places drawn in the order the shutter fired. Tap a mark to open everything you made there, newest first.
INSIGHTS
One honest statement about your work, and then the measurements behind it. Share of frames by lens, by body, by brand. The hours you shoot. The focal lengths you live at. What has gone quiet.
YOUR YEAR IN FRAMES
A year of your photography as a story you can read through and share.
TITLES AND STORIES
The EXIF is what the camera recorded. A title and a story are what you remember. Write them onto any frame, and find them again by them.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
There is no account and no sign-in. Your photographs are never uploaded, copied, or transmitted — AperFolio reads their metadata and stores only a reference to the original, which stays in your photo library. There is no analytics, no tracking, no advertising and no third-party SDK. AperFolio never asks for your location; the only coordinates it knows are the ones your own camera wrote into a photograph.
TRY IT FIRST
A sample collection is free to browse, so you can see what AperFolio shows before deciding whether to pay for it. Importing, editing, series, sharing and personalisation come with a subscription.
SUBSCRIPTION
Reading your own library, and every feature beyond browsing the sample, requires a subscription:
• Monthly
• Yearly
• Lifetime, a single purchase that does not renew
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your App Store account settings.
Nothing is deleted if a subscription ends. Your collection is hidden, not destroyed, and renewing brings all of it back.
