The app is ok but it’s not very intuitive. For example, you can “transfer” money between all accounts except your Visa account. To transfer money to your Visa account you have to go to “pay loan”. To select an online statement, you have to select your account (which you’re already in your account) then select search (which is redundant) then select your statement. Once you’re done viewing that particular statement, you have to go through the same convoluted process again to view another statement. Also, I should be able to view a statement from the account I’m already in, i.e. if I’m in my Visa account, there should be a button on that page to say, “View Online Statement”. Not very user friendly.

I don’t know if it is the bank or the app, but it constantly takes my money. Let me explain.When you are living paycheck to paycheck, as I am, every dollar is accounted for. That being said I do not add up every penny I spend as I’m spending it a lot of times I will just open the app and see how much I have in my checking account, and I’ll purchase whatever it is that I might be getting a coffee whatever. But yet apg continuously charges me overdraft fee. I will look at the amount of money I have in the bank in my checking account and then I will purchase something for that amount or close to it. Just to turn around and find out that there was something else pending so they hit me with overdraft fee and they do this constantly!! You’re telling me in 2024 with the technology that there is today that if you don’t have that amount of money in there, they can’t decline it? cash app does it why can’t a real bank or a credit union?

No notices posted in old app letting folks know that app was no defunct, called APGFCU and got a snarky answer saying they had been training for the new app for months and they had it posted on their website. Took me hours to get in to the new app and get all of my bill Pay set back up and I work on computer systems for a job. Poor job transitioning to this app which has a fundamentally different UI/UX which could be a problem for folks. The splash page error for the old app just says “we’re having trouble validating your account credentials” instead of saying something to the effect of “we have a new app, please download the new app”

I just don’t know where to begin with this. My experience has been horrible all around with them. First if you want to pay a loan for them you need to setup an external account, which you can’t do until you have a checking account, which costs money in the form of deposits every month. Ever hear of the class action against Wells Fargo for the “you need an account” garbage?Then if you want to “pay” a loan, you have to “transfer”. Ughh, what kinda dumb naming do you have going on? I’d expect at this rate my money to be nicknamed “cheese”. Sigh.Then they don’t do any work around the loan they claim to service. If you change insurance companies, they literally send you a notice in the mail requiring you to send them a copy of the updated insurance???!!! In what century are you living in?? Do your job! It’s not mine to service your loan. My obligation is to pay it. That’s it!Needless to say that if you ever encounter anything that bares the name APGFCU… Run! Run fast, run hard and say NO! I know I will.I suspect I will see this institution on a documentary 10 years down the road detailing how they cheated citizens out of their money and swindled it.
