This has been a great Bitcoin wallet so far! I’ve gotten nearly all my friends to download it so I could send them some sats. It’s the best feeling seeing their face light up when they see how easy it is to send money directly without having to go through a bank. This has also been the easiest way to show people how they can be their own bank and take their wealth with them across borders, etc.The only feature I wish they would add is a way to send via lightning without having to generate an invoice. There may be a reason for this I’m unaware of, but it’s a feature in basically any crypto wallet. You can always receive funds to your public address and people can send you whatever they’d like. I would love to see that in the near future, but otherwise, this app is a great experience!
Erroneous Fees, broken update

Really disappointed by the new 0.2 release. It was flawed right away and hid the BTC send options. Developers fixed that after I informed them, but the bigger problem they are either unable or unwilling to fix - erroneous fees being charged on every swap. I had hopes about the claim of reduced fees, but I tested receiving- swapping- sending a similar amount to my transactions before the update. At the swap screen it showed the correct fee (0.1% sideswap + small Aqua fee), but when it processed into my BTC side the fee they took was over 5x the stated amount (and consistently higher than the fees before the update). After a dozen emails with developers their only explanation is that their new partner Sideswap takes out an estimated fee that is not disclosed beforehand nor documented afterward! Two broken main features on a new release is unprofessional, and the false claim of lower fees makes the App worthless to me. I hope they can figure Liquid out, but I am more skeptical and dubious than even. Lightning on Muun wallet continues to be reliable and more cost effective than this - I highly recommend that instead.

If you’re trying to be as efficient as possible with UTXO management for the inevitable high on chain fees, then you need this wallet. I would’ve never considered using Liquid until watching a BTC Sessions tutorial on it. Liquid is perfect for the pleb trying to stay humble and stack sats. Just keep stacking to Liquid until you get enough sats for a phat UTXO, then Peg-Out to your cold storage. Simple as that
Fees aren’t clear

The title says it all. The wallet says the fee is supposed to be 15 sats to send 1000 sats. I have 1130 sats yet it won’t send the payment. Now I’m uncertain how to make these sats un-stranded. I’m worried if I add more to the wallet, I’ll lose more in routing fees than I’ll get back. Why isn’t there a “drain wallet” option that lays everything out like Helm or Phoenix or like 99% of lightning wallets out there? Sorry to be a downer but it’s annoying to not know what’s going on and how to solve the problem.
Developer Response
Hello, Thank you for your feedback. We understand the irritation with not being able to empty your L2 Bitcoin account by sending lightning. You can in fact drain your L2 Bitcoin account, but currently the only way to do so is to send the max amount of L-BTC (bitcoin on liquid), not send lightning. We are currently working on implementing a way to allow users to send their maximum Lightning balance.
Fixed bugs, improved performance, admired my diamond hands.
