Ariade is a private, real-time coach for the conversations you did not script: a support call, a negotiation, a difficult one-to-one, a meeting that drifts. It listens on your Mac, keeps your goal in view, notices when the tone shifts, and shows one short cue at a time. Only you see it.
NOT A RECORDER
Ariade is not a recorder, not a transcript and not a meeting summary. Nothing you say is written down for later. There is no transcript view, because there is no transcript to keep.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Prepare. Pick the kind of conversation, add a goal and any private context, choose the tone you want to keep. Ten seconds, or skip it and let Ariade infer the goal on the fly.
2. Coach live. Start listening from the panel, the menu bar icon, or with Control-Option-S. A small translucent panel floats over your call app. It shows the people on the line and their tone, your goal progress, and at most one cue, never more than a sentence. Optionally, cues are whispered into an earpiece instead.
3. Close and learn. When you stop, Ariade lists what was decided, what is still open and who committed to what. Rate the cues and answer three quick questions. The session is gone unless you ask to keep a recap.
SEVEN KINDS OF CUE
Goal, clarify, align, de-escalate, process, participation and commitment. Each is under 25 words and tied to something that was actually said. Tone labels are direct; the evidence and confidence behind every label are one click away.
PRIVACY
Audio never leaves your Mac. Speech is transcribed on-device with Apple's speech engine. The transcript lives in memory only and disappears when the session ends. Short text excerpts and your goal are sent to Ariade's coaching service to produce each cue; they are processed and discarded, not stored. Only what you opt in to is kept: a per-session recap. You can delete any session, or your whole account, from the app.
You are responsible for any notice or consent that call-recording rules in your location require; the app asks you to acknowledge this before it listens.
PLANS
Free: 60 coached minutes a month on a lighter coaching model, recap shown once.
Ariade Pro, monthly or yearly: 20 hours a month on the stronger model, recaps kept, coaching never stops mid-call. Pro renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period; manage it in your Apple account.
WORKS WITH
Any call that plays through your Mac: Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, FaceTime, WhatsApp, a browser tab, or a phone call taken on your Mac.
REQUIREMENTS
macOS 26 or later. Microphone and System Audio Recording permissions (the setup screen walks you through them). English and French; Ariade follows your Mac's language setting. Sign in with Google, Apple or an email link.
