More reliable point placement Points are now placed on ground surfaces only. Aiming at a wall, a post, or another near-vertical surface no longer drops a point on it — previously this could place a mark well away from the spot you were aiming at. Sloping ground works exactly as before. Marks stay upright on slopes A mark you place by tapping now stands upright on sloped ground, matching the marks the app places for you. Previously the first corner you captured on a slope could appear tilted. Send feedback from inside the app Tap Feedback on any help screen to tell us what's working, what isn't, or what you'd like to see. Your note goes out through Mail or Messages, so nothing is collected in the background and you can see exactly what you're sending.

This update refreshes the app's identity and its exports: • New name and icon — G-Compass is now ARrayVue Lite. It's the same app with the same tools, refreshed to match the ARrayVue family; everything works exactly as before. • Watermarked exports — photos you save from Camera Mode now carry a small ARrayVue mark in the corner. • Export provenance — exported point data and the Rectangle data log now include an "Exported from ARrayVue®" line with the date and time. Plus general stability and usability improvements.

This update focuses on calibration — making it more accurate and easier in the field: • Finish where you'll work. Calibration now begins by helping you step away from your work area, so it ends right where you'll be measuring — the spot where AR is most accurate. Already 150–200 ft out? Just tap Skip. • Faster Rectangle Layout. The starting corner's elevation is captured the moment you place it, so you only record the other three corners. • A heads-up when you've drifted. If you work well beyond your calibration area — where AR can quietly lose accuracy — the app now reminds you to verify or re-calibrate. • Fewer mis-taps. "Mark Calibration Point 2" stays disabled until you're at least 50 feet out, so an accidental early tap can't cut a calibration short. • True north, made clear. Tap the ⓘ by the compass reading for a reminder that headings are already true north — no magnetic declination to add or subtract. Plus general stability and usability improvements.

This update adds a calibrated AR compass and sharpens the field experience: • New — the G-Compass compass. Read a true-north heading referenced to GPS instead of the phone's magnetometer, so nearby steel and local magnetic interference don't pull it off course, and there's no declination to set. Aim at any object to sight its bearing. • Clearer compass display: a prominent heading index, a true-north marker, and a live readout of your latitude, longitude, elevation, and distance back to your calibration point. • The app now stays in portrait for steady, one-handed use, and rotates to landscape in Camera Mode so the AR scene fills the screen. • Photos exported from Camera Mode now include the location, date and time, and the direction the camera was facing, stamped onto the image. • Rectangle Layout now labels its azimuth as "(true)" to make the true-north reference explicit. • Plus refinements to the on-screen controls and general stability and usability improvements.
