What's New in ArrowTime Chrono v1.2 Detection Improvements Reduced false releases in Classic mode — release gate is now stricter per preset, so voices and ambient sounds are less likely to trigger a false shot. Classic is tuned for the close-range, crisp release signal of a nearby bow. Standard, Foam, and Max Range each have their own independently tuned thresholds. Smarter Missed button — the orange Missed button now only highlights when a shot was genuinely missed (release detected, no impact found). It no longer lights up during the search window, and a new release immediately clears any leftover highlight from the previous shot. Missed shot sanity check — if tapping Missed recovers a shot from the audio buffer but the implied speed is outside any plausible archery range (e.g. an echo was mistaken for an impact), it is routed to captures for review instead of being added to your group. Interface Distance picker is larger — the distance is now displayed prominently at a large font size on the Shoot screen, matching the importance of the setting. Single-tap distance selection — the distance picker now uses a native list anchored under the displayed value, so the first tap always commits your selection cleanly. Meters support — a Distance Units toggle in Settings lets you switch between yards and meters. Speed continues to display in fps, the archery standard worldwide. Distance options refined — the standard list runs 10–90 yd in practical increments. 5, 12, 100, 110, and 120 yd are available in Beta Features for unusual setups. Cal. Offset moved to Settings — the calibration offset is now in the settings screen alongside the detection mode, keeping the Shoot screen focused. Settings renamed — "Settings & Captures" is now simply "Settings." Captures remain accessible in Beta Features. Instructions screen — a new Instructions page is accessible from the home screen, covering setup, phone placement, distance accuracy, the Missed button, and detection modes. Send to Developer — available in Beta Features. Swipe right on any capture or tap the envelope icon in the capture detail to share the audio file and session metadata with the developer. Session management — swipe left or right to delete individual sessions within a combo. Each combo header has a Clear option, plus a Condense option that trims shot-level data while preserving averages and SD for trend tracking. SD trend chart — available in Beta Features. Shows consistency (SD) over time for a combo when two or more sessions exist. Bug Fixes Fixed version number mismatch between App Store listing and in-app display — the version shown in Settings now reads directly from the build. Fixed app layout clipping on devices with larger text size accessibility settings. Fixed onChange deprecation warning under iOS 17.
