Looping in one step. Drag across the waveform to mark a passage, then tap Loop — that is the whole of it. Drag a new passage while looping and it loops straight away. Loop edges carry grip handles and are easier to catch with a finger, and a tap only moves the playhead, so a loop you set is never cleared by accident. On iPhone and iPad, Clear Loop is in the ⋯ menu and on a long press of the Loop button. Tap the overview strip at the top to jump the playhead there. Fixed: after switching to another music app and back, pressing play could fail with "Playback did not start". It now plays.

Open videos. MP4, MOV and M4V files now open directly. Artscripture uses the soundtrack, so a lesson filmed on your phone or a clip you saved loops and slows down like any other track. Fixed: some AAC audio, including many Instagram and YouTube soundtracks, played at half speed and an octave low. It now plays at its real speed and pitch.
