I used the free version for a long time and wanted to gain access to the extra features of the Pro (and support the dev). I like it. Possibly a little pricey but ... I bought it so what do I know. Two requests: (1) add two or three MUCH MORE SUBTLE alarm sound options -- the availalble ones are more than I need, listening to them all day -- all are a little jarring. Related: (2) Allow me to choose custom sound files to use for alarm sounds. Keep up the good work.

I have been using the free version for months to time my work sessions. It's my favorite timer because it's easy to use and not cluttered with a bunch of useless features. I upgraded to Pro today for no reason other than I wanted to support the awesome developer who makes a useful free version available. But now that I have the Pro version, I love it even more than the free version because I can do non-essential (but helpful) things like change the color of the backgroud, change the name of the timer, and so on. Plus, with the Pro version, I can have multiple timers going, which is useful, for example, when I want to make a pot of tea (one timer) and still track my work session (another time). Tea drinkers know the sorrow of forgetting a steeping brew when in the midst of work. No more! Thank you, AS Timer. You're the best.

I have tried at least a dozen timer apps for MacOS and for iPhone. This is by far the best I’ve found for MacOS; I suspect it is the best that exists, certainly at this price point. It just works, works well, and is very keyboard navigable while still having a fairly simple GUI interface. Full screen option (I like to put this on my laptop screen beside my main screen), and you can start and stop the timer from the keyboard and set it to a new value. There are lots of options, but the defaults were excellent for me.If you want a good timer, check this out. Note: I bought the Pro version. I don’t remember offhand that there was anything I needed, but I wanted to support the app and developer.

I've been using the free version of the app for quite a while, mostly as a timer for breaks or time boxed work sessions during virtual meetings.The customizations in the Pro version are great. Being able to set the background ort to a color or any of a number of high quality images, and being able to set the timer's title are customizations I use regularly. Allowing a timer to go full screen with (or without) the info display under the time remaining that shows the time the timer started and the time it will finish is helpful.The option to choose whether each timer is a countdown timer (e.g. end in 10 minutes) or an alarm (e.g. end at 10:15am) is fantastic.Allowing each timer to be customized independently of the others is great.I've been using the Pro version for a while now around 3-7 times per week and have had zero problems with it.It's one of those straightforward apps that just works exactly like I want it to without any frusting quirks and without trying to mine my personal data.
