This update introduces SafetyNet AI 1.0, a comprehensive artificial intelligence assistant that transforms how users interact with their incident data. The new version adds a complete AI-powered analysis system featuring natural language question answering, intelligent pattern recognition, and personalized safety insights. Key enhancements include an AI-driven risk scoring system that calculates personalized threat assessments, an AI-generated safety plan creator that provides tailored recommendations based on incident history, and smart court summary generation for legal documentation. The AI assistant uses advanced pattern detection to identify temporal, location, and behavioral trends in incident data, offering trend explanations with emotional context to provide empathetic, supportive guidance. A new coaching mode delivers interactive follow-up questions to help users better understand their safety situation. All AI processing happens on-device using Apple Intelligence and the Natural Language framework, ensuring complete privacy without requiring external API calls or cloud services. The implementation includes 13 new files totaling over 3,500 lines of code, featuring a chat-style conversational interface with message history, suggested questions, animated thinking indicators, and comprehensive privacy controls including location anonymization and data export capabilities. This privacy-first design gives users full control over their data while providing powerful insights to help them stay safer.

Safety Plan Integration This update adds a comprehensive Domestic Violence Safety Plan feature to help users prepare, stay organized, and access support during high-risk situations. New Features • Safety Plan per Incident: Each incident can now include its own detailed safety plan for better documentation and follow-up. • Guided Safety Checklist: Nine structured categories covering personal safety, emergency contacts, exit planning, legal protections, children/pets, shelter access, health needs, technology privacy, and financial safety. • Checklist Tracking: Users can mark items as complete and add notes for each section. • Location-Aware Resources: Ability to find shelters, hotlines, and legal support near the user’s location using secure on-device search. • Quick Access Button: A “Create Safety Plan” / “View Safety Plan” button has been added to the bottom of the Incident form for easy access. • Automatic Saving: Safety plans save securely within each incident using on-device storage powered by SwiftData.

This update fixes critical App Store validation issues and enhances QR code data compatibility. We corrected invalid iOS deployment target versions (18.6 and 26.0) to the proper iOS 18.0 standard, ensuring compliance with Apple's SDK requirements. Additionally, we expanded the QR code export functionality by adding 17 new data fields to the ExportableIncidentReport structure, including victim date of birth, relationship details, suspect intoxication status, children present information, medical treatment records, weapon type, badge number, arrest status, EPO details, and police summary. These enhancements ensure complete and accurate data transfer between the SafetyNet and Viewer apps when sharing incident reports via QR codes.
