Love how they are Doing good for our planet with our hard earned money!

They align with companies that do good for us and our planet and they give cash back in those purchases. They also contribute to non profit organization of your choice from a list of companies doing good, if you contribute a percentage! Win win

They are also very proactive in listening to feedback and making changes accordingly.

The only drawback that I have so far, is there are some transfers and mobile check deposits to take a couple of days to process.

So if you want your money quickly that can be a little bit of a hangup.

Just have to be honest and Highlight the good with some of the things that need to work.

Hopefully they will integrate small business banking to tie it all in!

I first opened an account with Atmos Financial because I liked the idea that my money can be passively used to support climate projects.

Using the app, it had all the basic functionality of a standard banking service. I started to become put off with some small details that made me feel a bit uneasy. For example, you needed to submit a photo ID and a picture to transfer money out to another bank account - I’ve never had to do this before and was concerned that my money was stranded in this account. Additionally, the interest earned on the account didn’t always seem to land at regular intervals, leaving me wondering if it was going to land at all. When I inquired to customer service, the representative addressed me by an entirely different name and answered only half of my questions.

I ended up transferring my money out and closing the account. I would love to come back once the application and service is a bit more mature and reliable. Overall, great idea, but the execution could be improved to promote customer trust.

High yield returns, easy donations to nonprofits, and cash back when I shop with values aligned companies are all a welcome bonus on top of feeling good knowing my money is helping fund exclusively climate positive. Your money matters, so does where you put it.
