Weather is more than a number. It changes what you wear today, when you leave, and what deserves a place in your bag tomorrow. AtmosTrip is an iOS weather app first, with a practical trip checklist that begins where the forecast ends. Current conditions, the next 24 hours, a seven-day outlook, saved places, and optional alerts form the everyday experience. When travel is ahead, the same destination forecast becomes an editable preparation plan.
The main forecast brings the details that affect a day into one calm view: temperature, feels-like temperature, condition, rain chance, humidity, wind speed and direction, visibility, and pressure. Daily high and low temperatures, sunrise, sunset, and the latest update time stay close at hand. A continuous 24-hour timeline makes rain windows and meaningful temperature changes easy to spot. The seven-day view compares each day’s high, low, condition, precipitation, and wind; open any date for finer hourly detail.
Use your current location when you choose, or search for a place manually. Save several cities, reorder them, and compare current conditions with each daily range. Location permission is requested only after you select Current Location. If you decline access, place search remains available for forecasts, saved locations, alerts, and trip preparation.
Recent successful forecasts are cached on your device. Without a connection, AtmosTrip can still show the last current, hourly, and daily results with a visible update time. Older information is identified clearly, while every trip and checklist remains editable offline. Weather alerts are optional too: configure rain, temperature-drop, strong-wind, or departure reminders for the places and thresholds that matter to you, then switch each type off independently whenever you wish.
When a destination becomes a real trip, open its weather detail and create a travel plan. Add departure and return dates, then choose weekend, business, beach, city, camping, winter, or a custom trip style. Select activities such as sightseeing, hiking, swimming, skiing, camping, or photography. AtmosTrip summarizes the expected temperature range, rainy days, dominant conditions, and strongest wind during the available forecast period.
Those conditions become practical suggestions. Cold weather can add warm layers; rain can add an umbrella, shell, and waterproof storage; strong wind can suggest a wind-resistant outer layer. Selected activities contribute useful equipment. Review suggestions before adding them, then change anything. Built-in categories cover clothing, toiletries, documents, electronics, activity equipment, and other items. Each entry supports quantity, notes, a required flag, packed state, and ordering. Trip length, luggage type, and laundry frequency can adjust initial quantities, but refreshed weather never overwrites an item you edited.
See progress for the whole trip and for each category. Filter for unpacked, completed, missing, or required items, and search within the current trip. A departure check brings unfinished required documents and essentials forward. Start with weekend, business, beach, city, camping, and winter templates; save a personal template locally; or duplicate a past trip and change its place and dates. If a trip is beyond the available forecast range, AtmosTrip marks the limitation and lets you continue with manually selected conditions.
Trips, notes, templates, saved places, preferences, and cached weather stay on your device. No account is required. You choose when to export a checklist as plain text or PDF and when to open the iOS share sheet. Files are created only after your action, and every feature is available at no cost. AtmosTrip stays focused: understand the weather every day, then turn destination conditions into a checklist you can trust and change.
