Keep your verification codes close at hand. Authenticators App generates one-time passwords for accounts that support two-factor authentication (2FA), even when your device is offline. EVERYDAY SIGN-INS, MADE SIMPLE • Generate time-based TOTP and counter-based HOTP codes. • Add accounts by scanning a setup QR code or entering a setup key. • Find accounts with search, groups and favorites. • See the countdown and copy a fresh code when you need it. • Lock access to the app with supported device biometrics or your device passcode. MOVING YOUR ACCOUNTS Import Google Authenticator transfer QR codes and review the accounts before adding them. For other services, use a compatible setup QR code or setup key. Create and restore local JSON backups for device transfers. Offline code generation does not require a cloud account. Optional account sync requires sign-in and an internet connection. Local backups contain account secrets and are not encrypted by the app; keep backup files private. Works with services that support standard TOTP or HOTP codes. It does not replace service-specific push approvals, passkeys or account recovery. Enable two-factor authentication in each service first, then add its setup details.
