Woohoo, breeding season is just around the corner! If you have a stallion, you can now confirm that your stallion ad is valid for this season. If you’re searching for a stallion, you’ll clearly see which ones are already confirmed – and which haven’t been updated yet. We now also show approval levels for SWB stallions, and uploading SWB horses is smoother than ever. Just choose SWB as the studbook and enter the registration number, and we’ll sync the information directly from BLUP. We’ve also fixed a bunch of bugs (thanks for the help!). If anything new starts acting up, feel free to reach out to team@avla.app

Avla is becoming more international! The app is now available in even more languages – so more breeders can join the Avla journey. If you're a Pro user tracking a pregnancy, you can now also choose your foal’s coat color.

You can now edit and delete photos directly in full-screen mode. You can also add a caption to your cover photo and view it in full size. And yes – the cover photo is behaving again after being a bit stubborn during upload.

Images now (hopefully) load in true thoroughbred quality on all operating systems – even iOS 26! You can also edit your stallion ad directly, wherever you find it in the app – as long as it’s yours, of course.

Avla says hallo – now also in Dutch! You can now search for breeding stations directly on the map. Bug fixes? Of course. At least a few of them. The rest are still out grazing.

We fixed a bug on the station map where some stations didn’t appear until you zoomed in. And… the app is now available in Dutch!

News for Pro users tracking their mare’s pregnancy! You can now add your own notes – for example after a vet visit, a feed change, or anything else you’d like to remember. You can also upload photos, perfect for documenting how the belly grows week by week. We’ve also polished the app behind the scenes and fixed some bugs to keep everything running smoothly.

We’ve added a brand new pregnancy calendar and a Breeding tab where stallion ads and pregnancies are gathered in one place. We’ve also laid the groundwork for push notifications, and as always, fixed bugs and made improvements for a smoother experience. On top of that, we’re introducing Avla Pro – our premium subscription with smart features for those who want to take their breeding work to the next level.

We’ve polished the search function so you can find the right horse faster and tweaked a few things behind the scenes, including fixing a bug when deleting images in the gallery. This is our biggest update yet! We’ve refreshed the design to make Avla even easier and more enjoyable to use. Now you can also upload your own horses to help fill in pedigrees and explore brand-new features that support you in your breeding work.
