Avoided CO2e

Reference

Free · Designed for iPad

The CO2e App aims to raise awareness and enhance understanding of the contributions of the Montreal Protocol and its Kigali Amendment to climate change mitigation. The app allows users to obtain carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e) amounts of ozone-depleting substances (ODSs) phased out and the expected phasedown of hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), which are potent greenhouse gases. With the CO2e App, users have the ability to access global, regional, or party-specific CO2e reduction data for any group of substances controlled under the Montreal Protocol. The app provides flexibility in presenting this data, potentially offering various formats for users to visualize and analyze the information. The CO2e App provides accessible and comprehensive information about CO2e reductions, and hopes to inspire and inform users about the importance of phasing out ODSs and phasing down HFCs.
