AwoX HomeControl allows you to control your connected smart home devices.

Build your virtual home and browse your environment with one finger swipe, or see all your favorite devices as shortcuts in the home page.

Adjust the RGB color, brightness, set your preferred white temperature and unlock the full potential of your devices through HomeControl.

You can manage the Eglo connect.z and crosslink.z products, as well as the main connect.c products (lights, sensor and remote), and many more coming soon.

Keep an eye on your products with Home control even if they are connected to a voice assistant.
Group your devices and manage up to 50 products at once.
Control your devices from several smart phones at the same time.

A free account creation is needed, in order :

1. To be able to share your settings across several devices.
Install the application on multiple devices without additional configuration or reinstallation. Your setup is still available even if you change your phone.

2. To create a private and secure device network.

The data collected during the creation of your account (email address) has the sole purpose of providing the best user experience and the best quality of service.

AwoX HomeControl is the new Awox Application, providing all benefits from the latest features and updates.

If you already have an AwoX Smart CONTROL account, and in case you don’t own legacy devices in the following list : EGLO connect.wifi products, EGLO PLUG, EGLO PLUG PLUS or EGLO USB KEY, AwoX SmartLIGHTs, AromaLIGHTs, Awox SmartLEDs, AwoX StriimLIGHTs, SmartPEBBLE and SmartPLUGs, then you can easily and automatically migrate your account to AwoX HomeControl. Just type in your AwoX Smart CONTROL credentials into AwoX HomeControl and follow the wizard to transfer automatically your products.

It basically screwed up my bulb. Had to go to the old app.

After I installed the new app and setup with the “account upgrade” I started testing some of the settings.

First of all I can’t go into landscape mode with my iPad, it’s portrait only.

Second when I turned on the candle effect, there WAS NO WAY TO TURN IT OFF. It would constantly flicker and no option or change of brightness or turning off the light and back on could undo the flicker.

I had to go into the old app to fix it, however….
Doing the upgrade made my old account NOT able to sign into the old app. I had to create a new account under my email before I could sign in. And THEN I needed to repair the bulb, so I had to lookup the video tutorial for the log process of turning on the bulb on and off for multiple seconds and whatever it was before it was reset and then I was able to pair the bulb to the old app again. And finally after the reset the bulb no longer flickered.

How do you make a such of a mess of an app update that it basically makes me unable to use my lightbulb.

useless new version

Remain in old app. They say transfer, but you are required to re-pair components in new app and new app never sees them
