Description
Choose your class from Warrior, Cleric, Warlock, or Archer, and play the main story. Decide your path through dialogues with multiple choices, and fight countless enemies
Azmar Quest is a text-based RPG adventure, with turn-based battles and old-school vibes. It's inspired by the fantasy settings of D&D, TTRPGs, and CRPGs, but in its own unique (and sometimes quirky) way.
Choose your class from Warrior, Cleric, Warlock, or Archer, and play the main story. Decide your path through dialogues with multiple choices, and fight countless enemies!
You can also fight in PvP and play Dungeons (online only)
• Is this game for you?
Do you know that feeling when you start with just one basic attack, like in the old games, and slowly unlock new skills that actually make you stronger?
When finding an Armor just slightly better than the previous one, because it has +2 Stamina, feels like a real upgrade?
Well, if you're after games that give you every skill from the start and shower you with legendary loot right away, then Azmar Quest probably isn't for you.
But if you're not afraid to take on early enemies with just 1-2 abilities and no armor, and see real progress as you level up, then this may be exactly what you're looking for!
• Main Features:
- Single Player Story (playable offline too)
- Turn Based Battles.
- PvP battles (1v1 and 2v2) and Co-op Dungeons (online)
• Gameplay:
- Choose 1 of the 4 character classes available: Warrior, Cleric, Warlock or Archer, each with their own strategy.
- Customize your character's build: 24 unique skills per class, 4 armor slots and 4 potion slots to create your build and enhance your character.
- Follow Azmar's story through a dangerous fantasy world in this text based RPG adventure, make choices that matter with multiple endings, fight 100+ unique enemies in turn based battles, and reach level 30!
The single player story should last at least 20 hours.
• Does the game have anything else to offer? Of course it does!
- Face new single player quests and challenges every day, fight in the 2v2 Arena with your companion, or fight in 3v3 party based battles in the Veiled Realm, and reach Mastery 100!
- Play online in Dungeons, 1v1 or 2v2 battles, or play rated battles, and reach rank 1000 in PvP!
• Developer Notes:
- Azmar Quest is designed to be accessible and playable for blind users too, through the use of VoiceOver.
- Azmar Quest is completely free to play, with no content locked behind paywalls or timers. It only has a few optional ads and optional in-app purchases.
- The game is only in english. It's very unlikely that I will have time to translate it, but you never know.
- This is a one-person indie game project. I'm constantly developing and improving it. It just takes a lot of time, have patience.

Ratings and Reviews
Best rpg
This game is so good. The different classes are you unique with different abilities and a lot more more than I was expecting. I’ve heard some people complain that there’s not much to do after you beat the story, but I found that there is a ton of grinding to do to get your gear and skills up higher, and also work on the scrolls. The grinding also feels fun, and I would like to see some new things in the future. Some good ideas I have seen on discord or things like new classes, and harder dungeons. I stand by both of those things which would make the game better than anything ever possibly made. One thing I would like to add to this is a monthly event, where up to 10 people or maybe even more would be thrown into one giant labyrinth, and would have to survive the longest I think a battle Royale dungeon would be amazing. Maybe you could set traps for your enemies and fight other players. You could also get to some squares before other people. Maybe some new places in the labyrinth could be added for this mode, like a dark zone that lets you steal a bunch of stuff from any player, maybe a swap dungeon items or positions square, or even a very rare Square that there’s only one of per dungeon, that would let you send a boss after a player. This would be such a fun event, and you should be able to see who is the strongest in order, so you have an idea who to target
This game is exactly what I’ve been looking for.
I don’t know what to say, this game is actually perfect. I’ve played adventure to fate for a while, and absolutely love it, but haven’t tendency to get horribly stuck in certain places and unable to progress further. Always wanted a game that had similar mechanics and strategy, but wouldn’t leave me constantly trying everything imaginable to get past a certain enemy. The fact that this game lets you choose to fight any enemy that you’ve ever faced before, and even some that you happened, to train your skills and abilities and gain XP is amazing. Grinding is fun now. The turn based combat is quite interesting, and the strategy is not hard to learn. I’m not sure if it’s a blind thing, but I often struggle with all of the intricacies of turn combat. This game makes it quite simple and easy to learn. I could honestly write an essay about how awesome this game is. Check it out, support accessible game development!!! also the dialogue, just, the dialogue…

Wow, thank you for your awesome review! I've heard about Adventure to Fate too, but I've never played it. Anyway, I'm glad you like the mechanics of Azmar Quest and the game overall! I hope to make Azmar Quest known to more players in the future, even though that's the challenging part.
Interesting Story hampered by gating
I play a lot of rpgs in various forms and I want to start out by saying I liked what I have played so far. I have played up to Chapter 4 in the off line mode. I appreciate that I do not feel like I have to pay to win, even if there are items for sale. I am also very interested to see where this story goes since it is mixing in all sorts of genres, that I did not expect. I would recommend this to anyone that wants a casual type rpg.
All that being said, I do have a few things that I already don’t like. None of the systems in the game are very well explained and you kind of learn by trial and error. I still do not know the use for honor points, other than in the shop. Should I be saving them, I don’t know. But if that is the case it punishes me for picking anything other than the honorable choices in the game. As for choices, the game story is very linear in that you are forced through only one path of choices to complete the quests. You just have to figure out the correct order of choices the developer wanted you to pick. But my biggest gripe of the game is the gating. Why can I not earn enough levels to move to the next part of the story without wasting my time in the training area mindlessly grinding battles? And the side questing doesn’t help since it is on a timed unlock. This alone is why I have removed at least one star from my review.

Hi, thanks for your review! I’m glad you like the game overall, even if your rating isn’t high. Let’s go through your points.
The game is an old-school RPG, so it’s normal for some things to need exploring instead of being explained right away. This has actually improved compared to a few versions before. I agree that the Honor system isn’t explained well. I’m slowly working on a game guide, but it’ll take some time.
As for the story being linear, that’s true, but there are choices that change some events. For example, if you contaminate Hawes' cure, Avery joins the Evil Court, and you fight her on the ship instead of going to the Island. Or another example at the end, you can choose to save Azmar or infect it and become evil, which entirely changes the next Extra Mission.
About grinding, that could definitely be a problem. If you’re playing on Novice, experience is a bit lower, but on Veteran, I thought it wouldn't be an issue. Did you have trouble between Chapter 2 and Chapter 3? Some players told me there wasn’t enough experience there, so I’ve already increased it, but I’m not sure if it’s enough. If it happened between other chapters, let me know, and I’ll adjust the experience there too! In the meantime, you can save Honor Points to unlock Extra Missions if you need more experience, as they give more experience than farming in training.
Anyway, thanks again for the feedback! I’ll keep working to improve the game even more!
