AZULEJOS VIRTUAIS é um aplicativo-obra em realidade aumentada do artista multimídia Fabiano Mixo comissionada via Lei Aldir Blanc, pelo Governo Federal, Secretaria Especial da Cultura, Prefeitura da Cidade de Nova Iguaçu, Secretaria Municipal de Cultura e FENIG.
Através de uma colagem em realidade aumentada de fotos das ruínas da antiga Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Piedade do Iguassú, transeuntes e moradores sao convidados a um olhar histórico pela cidade. A obra converge street art e novas mídias valorizando a arte pública e o patrimônio cultural local.
