Ratings and Reviews
Stay away if possible
This app is terrible. If you can avoid it, you should at all costs. We've been forced to push it onto our users at work to try to circumvent setting up a proper OpenVPN server to meet our MFA requirement, but it has been a terrible experience for them. The developers respond with vacuous claims like "email us to help resolve," but these are complete lies and deception. I once posted a problem where the exported profile literally added an extra letter "s" to a tag definition, rendering the exported profile completely unusable and corrupted without manual editing first. That might not make sense to everyone, but it's absurd. This app is the worst, and I think Microsoft writes some of the best software for macOS. Stay away from this specific headache if you can avoid it.

New Version. Still drops connection. Terrible interface.
Do not upgrade! This new version is dropping connections more frequently. This app is so poorly designed it is a wonder it passed review. For example, it has an option for the connection to be kept open indefinitely, BUT you never see that option until a pop-up appears after an our of use. If you miss that popup, the connection drops. That option should be in the app preferences. Nope. It would be nice if it remembered my login info. Nope. Or maybe integrate with Apple's built in VPN tool. Nope. Use open standards. Nope. Synch preferences using iCloud. Nope. it's abysmal.

Microsoft app written by 5-year-old
There is a known bug whereby it caches settings and, if anything changes with your sign in details (such as setting up 2FA, etc.), it becomes unusable. Microsoft support literally don't know how to delete this cache and so they said I should contact Apple! Obviosly it's Microsoft's responsbility. This is absurd and Microsot don't take ownership of their own KNOWN software bugs.
