Description

BAC Tracker is an easy and accurate way to determine your blood alcohol content (BAC). This app can calculate your current BAC based on a formula that keeps weight, gender, and alcohol by volume (abv) in mind. Users need only to enter the time they started drinking, the amount in ounces they're drinking, and the abv of their beverage to keep track of their BAC.

Features include:

- A color-coded chart for each day to show your BAC over time and where your current / peak BAC falls
- Weekly view of your peak BACs for each day of the week
- The ability to log your drinking start time, amount drunk in ounces, and the alcohol by volume (abv) of the drink
- The capability to normalize drinks based on alcohol by volume (abv) to a standard unit of alcohol
- Three different categories for types of drink (beer, wine, liquor)

BAC Tracker should NOT be used to determine whether a user is capable of driving or operating machinery.

Incredibly bad (especially when you consider how simple the concept is)

This app literally thinks that a shot (1.5 oz) of 40% alcohol liquor increases your BAC by .0005 for a 155lb person. This is absolutely not even remotely close. It’d be closer to .03. This app would lead you to believe you could take 16 shots and still legally drive. This might be the dumbest app I have ever seen.

I may be tipsy but I’m loving the app

This app is kinda smart! I just logged a shot at 12:02am but it recognized that my first drink was at 11:30 something, so it included the new shot in the same day. I thought that was great! I also love how it predicts your peak intoxication time so you can see the trajectory of how drunk you’ll be when.

Works ok.

Works decently well, but don’t log two drinks at the same time (like a shot and beer) because it’ll calculate incorrectly. Log on drink a few minutes later to get a more accurate number.
