I’ve been playing for a while. The game used to frustrate me because yes, the dice are sort of fixed. I eventually accepted it. I can often predict exactly what the dice will roll after certain turns. That said, it’s my responsibility to make the best moves regardless, so I’ve learned to go with it. Visually, I like this backgammon game better than others I’ve tried, and it moves quickly which is nice. I do wish they had better chat options than just the eight emojis, but whatcha gonna do.

First, you have to go through so many hoops to figure out how to get around all of their cartoons to finally play a game. Once in the game, it’s really pretty good and a nice design.Second, after about three games you all of a sudden are asked for money because you ‘don’t have enough points’. I actually laughed at that before deleting the app.

I have played backgammon for years and was I was looking for good app. This one fits the bill. There’s always a lot of people playing so it’s really easy to pick up a game and they also have a lot of fun challenges so if you want to go above just regular games of backgammon there’s always something to do.

Decades ago, I played backgammon with a work group over lunch. Job change, no one to play with, so I’d play against myself. Life change, no board to play on. Fast forward to modern times, and Backgammon Live shows up. Now I can play anytime, anywhere right on my iPad or phone. Love it!
