Your collection’s growing. So did we. Say hello to Bandbreite v2—the best edition yet of your favourite app for your ever-growing watch band collection.

Browse the full catalogue of official bands, build your collection, and stay inspired by stats, insights, curated collections, and the community.

Whether you’re a pro, a beginner, or curious about every official watch band ever released, Bandbreite gives you the tools to explore and collect. Version 2 has been redesigned and re-engineered from the ground up—with 30+ new features and thoughtful details to make browsing, collecting, and your everyday experience even more fun, intuitive, and satisfying. It’s our biggest update yet.

* Bands. All bands. :: Since 2015, Bandbreite has catalogued over 840 official watch bands. With over 840 bands organized by style, color, or release date, it’s never been easier to explore 10 years of watch bands. You can browse detailed specs, swipe through image galleries, and discover the bands that fit you and your style best.

* Collection, Wishlist, and more. :: Add bands to your collection or wishlist — or mark them as in transit or up for trade. Bandbreite helps you track everything you own and everything you might have your eye on. There’s always that one band missing, right? Our curated collections show band groups like "Adventure awaits", or "Made in Switzerland", and can be used to get informed, inspired, or to see which bands fit well together.

* Stats & Insights. :: Discover your collecting and wearing habits with statistics and charts on your favorite styles and colors, most-worn bands, and more. All insights are generated
right on your device — privacy built in.

* Logbook. :: Log the bands you’re wearing! Keep track of which bands are being worn the most, and which are used the least and might need more of your attention. A simple tool that emphasises your favorites and helps you understand your collection and your habits a bit more. It’s also fun!

* Always Up to Date. :: Bandbreite's database is updated over-the-air with every new band release. We work closely with the community to keep it accurate and helpful. Be among the first to know when new bands drop — just enable notifications!

"This app really wouldn’t be the same in anyone else’s hands."
We promise to live up to one of our favorite reviews.

* All features are free to explore. To manage collections with more than five (5) bands, a one-time upgrade to Bandbreite Pro unlocks your unlimited collection.

What’s New

Version 2.0.4

The 2.0.4 update includes minor UI improvements and various small bug fixes. Localized names are now also more prominently shown in band details when a language is selected in settings.

The 2.0.2 update addresses rare issues with syncing between devices, resolves logbook crashes, and fixes syncing and restoring of the in-app purchase. It also brings back two of the most requested features: your band display option will be remembered, and you’ll now see a label showing whether a band is on your wishlist or in your collection. If you or someone you know is experiencing issues after an update from v1, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. In most cases, we can solve the very few problems with a single tap. Thank you!

What’s new in 2.0? Pretty much everything. Bandbreite has been redesigned and re-engineered from scratch while keeping everything familiar—with 30+ new features and thoughtful details to make exploring, collecting, and your everyday experience even more fun, intuitive, and satisfying.

Fun to use! (V2.0: can’t log for older dates)

Update: the v2.0 feature does not allow me to log bands for the dates older than 2 years ago. Please add this feature back.

The logbook browsing issue I had in v1.x seems fixed. I appreciate that!

(Below are comment for v1.x, partially outdated)

I enjoying finding the Apple Watch bands I own, plus learning about other bands. And the app UI is wonderful, which feels like a native iOS/iPadOS app. It would be perfect if the logbook performance and stability can be improved. I have logged records from April 2015 and I like revisiting my past watch band wearing history. However, on my iPad, when I’m scrolling the calendar (more than 2 months), some months are temporarily invisible and will then show up after scrolling a bit more. On the Mac version, some months not even show up at all. Same issue applies to the list view. Also, scrolling the calendar (more than 2 months) is a bit laggy on my iPad. I hope this issue can be fixed! Finally, about the process of logging my bands usage: I would recommend adding an option to type dates in numbers directly (as an alternative of choosing date from the date selector) when logging watch bands, which will make things faster! And sometimes, I accidentally click on “add to today” instead of “add to date,” so maybe a confirmation window after that would be great. Thanks for making this awesome app!

Wow!!!

*Update* They added the option now to log the band you’re wearing each day! I’m a nerd about keeping track of stuff like that so I’m really happy they added this feature. One of my favorite apps ever, keep up the great work!

I love buying first-party Apple Watch bands and this app is really cool to see my collection at a glance! Very well done, it has every band I own and it’s great for seeing bands from years ago that aren’t offered anymore. Really really cool app!

“Version 2 Upgrade”

This app used to be awesome and I loved using it until they came out with V2. I went to log my band for today, today being the first time I’ve used it since the update and accidentally removed one of my bands from my collection since I was confused by the new UI. I was then shocked to learn I HAD to pay to add my watch band back to my collection since I own more than 5 bands. This is absolutely outrageous since the whole point of this app was to be able to log your collections. I get it’s not a subscription but the fact I am having to pay for an update I didn’t ask for is insane. I will no longer be using this app and sincerely hope others see this and quit as well.

Developer Response ,

The app has been free for over four years, and we made a decision — announced multiple times in advance — we believe is in the best interest of both the app and its community going forward. I’m sorry if you disagree. There’s only one limitation, and it only affects larger collections. Everything else remains free — despite the time and effort invested over the past years. Thank you for your feedback.
