Feedback

The app is well-designed and contains an informative reference for apple products.

I believe The app could be better if the following were added.

1- startup sounds of each device that would be neat

2- Compare two of the same category device, for example, iPhone 13 pro max to iPhone 12 pro max and so on, to compare. Like the concept of GSMarea but in the same design as the Mactracker app

3- The folder category should show the category represent icon rather than the folder icon for all Categories, which makes it quite dull and uncolored.

4- The software section, I believe, needs work
When adding IOS Version, make a section for highlighted features added in that version and most likely presented in the keynote. So it will be used to track when this introduced and have a comparison and shows in this is how many features introduced compared to previous

5- Adding addtional info for iPhone reference from Ifxit about Battery specs and parts price of each model, mentioning the connection on the side of the cost.

I would love to hear the developer's opinion on my feedback.
All the best, and I hope my requested features are considered to make the app even better than now

For the readers, if you like the requested features just like this review, and if you are in doubt about downloading, all I say is do not hesitate to download the app and be an informative apple fan.

idk why you guys removed the option to play the startup sound by tapping the icon of the product like for the older mac sounds and the later mac sounds. i did find it was removed once before a while back, i’m guessing by accident, because it eventually came back. i love that little secret. please bring it back.

also, would you guys please consider adding all of the Apple watch bands to the app. i have a hard time tracking all the Apple official watch bands & links, including Nike & Hermès bands, in all their respective colors. i think it would be an awesome addition to the app. other than that, you guys did a fantastic job. thanks for all the hard work!

Amazing app I have loved for years!

So, let’s get this out of the way. The app is amazing. It is LOADED with info for pretty much everything Apple has ever released. I see people complain about new products are not included quickly. Seriously? You’re complaining that the free app you’ve downloaded isn’t updated, for free, quickly enough? My response is to ask how much THEIR time is worth. Ian will get it updated eventually, but the app is always a bit behind because Apple keeps releasing new products. For things in the app, the amount of info is incredible. It’s saved me many times over the years. Anyway, enjoy the app and marvel in how well Ian is doing to get this info out there. And just maybe, go to his website and donate some money for this free and wonderful app! :)
