I plan on officiating high school baseball games next spring as my post retirement job/hobby. I got the NFHS Rulebook as a gift so I could begin studying the rules and to have on hand as I attended baseball games in person to see how umpires interpret and enforce the rules. This app has made it much more convenient to quickly navigate to a particular rule or subject in seconds. Easy to read and is in line perfectly with the rules in the hard copy with rule numbers and everything for reference. I’m 47 years old and not the most tech savvy but this app is easy to follow. For new umps I suggest downloading this app and actually go to some games before you ever set foot on the field and follow along on the app as the ump makes calls, especially the lesser known or rare situations that occasionally occur during games. This has definitely helped my understanding of the rules tremendously. Shawn

If I could give this app 6 stars, they would get 7! Absolutely love how easy this app is to use, and how easy it makes the rules sound! Have a rule you’re unsure about because of the wording? Look it up in BRIBAW and read it in common english! Rule books sometimes are written in a way that make them hard to understand, but BRIBAW makes it easy to understand! 10 out of 10 will recommend!

This is a great app to overview before games and in situations where your rule book is not with you. It provides video and examples as well as the rules itself. If you are an umpire or even just trying to learn more about the game of baseball, this is the perfect app for you! Other than the actual rule book itself, this is my number one source for rules. The best free app for sports officials on the App Store!!
