Battle of Warships: Naval Wars 9+

BOW is a great game, it’s the best warship game I can have on my iPad now. Everything is great from the ships, the maps, and the people you meet online. Although there are some thing’s that can be put into the game though. One thing is that there needs to be national crew voices for the ships, & the game needs better graphics (the planes from the carriers fly through the scenery, kinda scary). When you switch ships from different countries, there should be a change of scenery instead of London harbor all the time. The interceptors & torpedo planes need their national markings, and need to be the type of plane the countries used in WWI & WWII. Just to end this, it’s not fair to buy shells because your already spending too much getting upgrades & new ships. Please put this stuff in the game, it probably will make the game experience much better for me, & possibly for others.

So I’ve played WoW before and it’s kinda meh but I’m already getting off the topic. BoW (note: BoW is battle of warships, not world of warships incorrectly typed) is a great game for people who love warships in general, featuring a vast majority of carriers, battleships, cruisers and more. If you are a WoW fan, think of it as practice or training. It’s simple to use, and it’s very fun! Also, I like how the transactions aren’t the whole game like a pay to play game. They are sprinkled here and there and the ship unlock system is mostly just a rank up and buy with game currency type thing. The ships you can’t do that with are a few premiums, epic chest ships, or ships you need to build (Also at the expense of no real money, but fairly hard to get components, but that’s pretty fair). Also, if you do get the epic container, hope for the USS Brooklyn, and by that point you probably have a good amount of money, so if you get it, just grind out main battery and ship upgrades and you’ll be good to go. It’s also my favorite ship btw. But overall a great game! I mean, maybe make the components easier to get, but other than that, I would recommend this over WoW any day! Thanks for such a great game!

Nice smooth gameplay, except for a few glitches where boats seem to move backwards really fast suddenly for about a second before returning on their original course. When you exit the app, and then return, at least for me it’s frozen for a solid ten seconds before it unfreezes and continues as normal. I do think that the developers nailed the maps. Each one has it’s own unique feel and aesthetic that I really like. It also allows you to employ as much strategy and tactics as you want, unlike some games, which really appeals to me. One suggestion I do have is for ships on a team to be able to exchange health. If you’re at full health, and you’re teammate is dangerously low, you could transfer a certain amount of health to them. There could be a cooldown on this, and perhaps you have to be within range to transfer health. The better the ship is, the more health it’s able to transfer at a time, or total in a game. Just throwing this idea out there, and feel free to take any interpretation of it as you please.
