Description
Beat Time plays audio & video and can change the tempo (time stretch) and/or pitch and does note & chord detection. It is aimed as a practice / study tool for musicians and as a helper tool for transcribing audio & video. Play audio & video from your iPod library, dropbox, iTunes file sharing or open from other apps.

Video loading too slow
It takes way too long to load a 45-second song. Please help.
Incredibly useful app!
I’ve been using this app almost daily for about a decade now, and it has made my personal and professional life so much easier. There are other music apps that let you slow down songs, but this one has been the only truly reliable one that I’ve used. Having the ability to import songs from almost any source, slow them down, transpose them, mark and repeat parts or sections, export those sections or entire songs in new formats, etc. is exactly what I look for in an app. By far and away, the best feature is the ability to import audio directly from YT and save the files for later use. Of course, this feature can sometimes be at the whim of YT’s system, but the Beat Time! developer is always incredibly quick to update things to keep everything running smoothly.

I can’t figure this app out and there are no instructions
The app claims to be able to access videos and then slow them down. But when it asks to access my camera roll, all it shows is a list of black boxes all with the same name: video 1. When I try to play them it tells me it cannot play .mov files.
These are videos I took on an iPhone and were synced to my iPad. They are recorded on whatever format the iPhone uses. Perhaps that is the problem, it may not work with iPhones.
When I go to the video and try to open it in beat time, the list of available options does not include beat time, so that avenue is out.
Audio files seem to show up, but I already have apps that can do those, and I was told this worked with videos.
Is there any sort of instruction book for this app?
Is it because they were recorded on an iPhone instead of an iPad?
