Bedside Coach is a voice-first nursing simulation app built to strengthen clinical judgment, communication, and bedside confidence. Practice realistic, unscripted scenarios across fundamentals, med-surg, mental health, pediatrics, and maternal health. Respond in your own words as you work through introductions, assessments, patient education, SBAR communication, interruptions, and difficult conversations. New unfolding, multi-part cases add a more realistic flow where patient status and priorities change over time. Every session now ends with a guided reflection to help you identify what went well, what you’d change next time, and the reasoning behind your decisions. Key features: Voice-first simulation: No scripted taps or menu-based dialogue. Practice how nursing sounds in real care settings. Unfolding multi-part cases: Scenarios progress in stages with new details and changing priorities, so you can practice reassessment and adapting your plan. SBAR handoff: Start each scenario with an SBAR handoff to quickly orient and practice clear, structured communication. Guided reflection: End each session with a brief guided reflection to reinforce learning and track growth over time. Test sessions (user + proctor): Create a structured test session pairing a learner with a proctor for checkoffs, skills validation, or exam-style practice. IV pump and feeding pump simulation: Program two common IV pump styles just like real practice. Fluids run in real time, can empty, and include occlusion errors. Start feeding pumps for NG and G-tube orders. Medication/barcode workflow: Scan patient and medication barcodes with your device camera or a synced Bluetooth barcode scanner. Generate your own barcodes with one tap for at-home printing and practice. Immersive clinical context: Simulated vitals monitor (including waveform visuals), patient records, orders, history, diagnostics, and evolving case data. Personalized coaching: After each run, get targeted feedback, CJMM-aligned scoring insights, strengths, and improvement areas. Exportable reports: Generate PDF summaries with transcripts for study, remediation, or instructor review. Trivia mode: Reinforce knowledge with nursing-focused trivia and rapid practice rounds.
