Before You React is a simple tool designed to help you slow down during emotionally charged moments.
When you feel angry, hurt, overwhelmed, frustrated, anxious, or tempted to respond impulsively, the app gives you a private space to pause before deciding what to do next.
Instead of reacting immediately, you can move through a short guided cooldown that helps you:
• Pause and breathe
• Identify what you are feeling
• Think about what outcome you actually want
• Take a short cooldown
• Decide whether to respond, wait, walk away, or let it go
Need something faster? Use the 60 Second Reset for a quick pause when you only need a moment to collect yourself.
Before You React also includes optional private history and insights for registered users, helping you recognize patterns in how you respond after taking time to cool down.
There are no public posts, social feeds, comments, or community profiles. Your experience is designed to stay personal and focused.
Before You React is intended for self reflection, relaxation, and emotional awareness. It is not a substitute for professional mental health care, diagnosis, or treatment.
