Photograph a receipt, and your accountant has it. No email, no forwarding, no lost attachments. BeforeMay is the app your accountant asks you to use. When your accounting firm invites you, your workspace appears here automatically — there is nothing to paste and nothing to forward. From then on, sending a document is one photo. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Photograph receipts and invoices, or pick them from your photo library or files • See what your accountant is still waiting on, so nothing is chased twice • Message your accountant in the same place the documents live, instead of losing it in a mail thread • Keep your own details up to date WHY IT IS BUILT THIS WAY Documents are encrypted in transit and at rest, and stored in Australia. Text is read from your documents on this device where it can be, so less leaves your phone in the first place. You are only ever connected to a firm that invited your email address, and joining is an explicit accept — an invitation link on its own is not enough for anyone to reach your records. You can delete your account from inside the app at any time. Your accountant keeps the documents you have already sent them, because Australian tax records carry a five-year retention obligation that sits with the firm.
