Description
The Belkin SOUNDFORM app will setup Wifi, AirPlay 2, and Alexa (where available) on SOUNDFORM ELITE with Alexa and AirPlay 2 speakers. Group and ungroup speakers, control volume, and more.
The app also supports the SOUNDFORM Connect for a simple, plug-and-play way to stream the music you love on your existing speakers. It’s easy to bring wireless signal from your iOS and Mac devices to any speaker or receiver with an optical or 3.5mm audio input.

Cool when it works
I’m disappointed to find after several months using this app that the worst reviews have proved to be true. While the receiver device itself is really practical, I have to reset it several times a day due to syncing issues with AirPlay. I feel like this could be easily solved with minimal work on the software, but as it stands after three years without an update, the app is useless except to pair and name the device.
AirPlay2
It might be capable of using AirPlay2 but good luck actually setting it up. The app was written by a teenager, never tested. The instructions are worse. I’m yet to actually play a song on this because of this so I can’t speak to sound quality. As another use said, you can’t add a device if you already have a SoundForm product without unplugging the other one. As an electrical engineer with extensive software experience, this is total amateur level of work you’d not expect from a well known company. Particularly at the price point.
Soundform connect
Have the Soundform connect to make some old outdoor speakers Airplay compatible. Love it when it works, but it’s been “not responding“ a lot lately and I have to keep resetting the device
