Experience - Users can add multiple Experience components in profile section 3. Accounts - Users can create multiple Page Accounts as: a. Business Accounts b. Company Accounts c. Institution Accounts d. Organization Accounts - These Page accounts have the following sections: 1. Profile Picture 2. Motto 3. About 4. Contact 5. Website 6. Location 7. Structure a. Key People or Management i. Position - At this point users can see the Benang user list and they can select any of the users on the list. b. Staff i.Position - At this point users can see the Benang user list and they can select any of the users on the list. - Page Accounts can add posts, comment on posts, reply on posts. - Page Accounts can create groups, join groups, and/or create badges inside groups. 4. Manage Visibility for user profile - Users can hide details from other users 1. Hide About This account (Account information) 2. Hide Education details 3. Hide Experience details 4. Hide Groups 5. Hide Badges 5. Groups - Creators and admins can set group post privacy, or who can post in the groups. - Group Privacies are: 1. Group Members 2. Specific group members (selected group members) 3. New Available Features 1. Posting Enhancement a. Users now can post and share GIFs and documents on the homepage of the app. b. GIFs also are enabled in the comment section of the app to increase interaction and dynamic communication among users. 2. New Components on the User Profile a. Badges earned by users and groups that users have joined will show up on their profiles. b. Depending on the privacy settings selected by users, for public accounts, other users can view one’s badges and groups in more detail. 3. Enable Group Creation a. Users are now able to create groups with unique names, descriptions, and group profile pictures. b. Set group privacy to allow anyone to join or limit those who join to only certain individuals. c. Once users become a group admins, they can invite other users to join their groups to start sharing educational information and collaborating. d. As an admin, users can appoint other members as co-admins to their groups e. Admins can set who is allowed to post in a group 4. Group Badges a. Badges are a recognition and reward mechanism for group members. b. Boost activity and interest of group members by setting achievements through group badges. c. Admins of groups can generate badges and set specific requirements to obtain badges. They can also write descriptions to show members who may be interested in earning badges. d. Admins can view, approve, or decline requests for badges by members of the group. 5. Suggestions to help connect with other users a. This release will help users find other like-minded users or groups for those with similar interests and new ideas. b. Suggestions for personal accounts and groups will be displayed on the request page of the app. 6. Manage Visibility a. Using tools on the manage visibility page allows users to select either public or private settings for their accounts. b. Public accounts will allow higher exposure and at the same time more accessible connectivity. On the other hand, private accounts have less exposure and limit connectivity with other users. Users can select any of these according to their liking and preference.
