This is the official app of the Benton Utility Department. Our mission is to provide customers with efficiently managed and operated electric, water and wastewater services at competitive rates and to methodically establish and maintain a strategy for not only meeting current needs, but address the future demands of the city’s anticipated growth may place the system.

Quickly view your current account balance and due date, manage recurring payments and modify payment methods. You can also view bill history including PDF versions of paper bills directly on your mobile device.

View energy use graphs to identify high usage trends. Navigate graphs quickly using an intuitive gesture-based interface.

I Like It
So far so good plus you don’t have to pay a stupid $3.95 fee to pay online like you did before. We get charged enough as it is.
Poor standards in modern world.
1. Benton’s new utility platform from smarthub.coop doesn’t allow for passwords longer than 50 characters. (The old one did!)
2. When registering for an account, the web interface doesn’t allow you to paste a password in to the 1st password field. But it does allow you to paste in to the second. Once pasted in to the second confirmation field, you can copy from there and paste in to the first.
3. The web app first password field does not interface with Apple’s Password built-in password management. Meaning that it Apple isn’t suggesting a password. I had to do all of that manually.
