Description

** Featured on MacStories & Mac Power Users **

Bezel is a macOS app that mirrors any iPhone on your Mac by just plugging it in.

Bezel enables you to show what’s happening on your iPhone to others. Bezel makes it quick and easy to present, record and demo any app. Bezel also looks beautiful with high resolution, super accurate device frames that match the connected iPhones color.

# Who is it for?

Bezel is for anyone who wants to have their iPhone appear on their Mac. It is especially loved by content creators and app development teams.

Content creators use Bezel to be able to record iPhone along side other content. People in teams working on iOS apps use Bezel to review if their work matches the specified design, and share progress made in a screen share in meetings.

“Bezel makes showing a particular app user experience so seamless. I’m using it to live demo features. Love it!”
—Daan van de Kamp, Product Manager mobile apps at Booking.com

Sort of useful but could be improved

Phone screen can’t be controlled from Vision Pro, it’s just a one way viewing broadcast.

So it’s still challenging to click around on the phone (the “real” passthrough one remains blurry). It would be much easier to navigate the phone if the virtual phone screen could attempt to track and follow your real phone, eg try to line up approx the same size as the phone in your hand, and positioned at a similar angle and coordinates. Currently it’s just a gigantic screen display. At the very least can we manually shrink it down…? Right now it doesn’t seem like the mirrored window can be resized at all.

needs improvement

the mirroring is very glitchy (gets pixelated and distorted), you can't interact with the iphone screen from within the vision pro, and it disconnects completely every time the iphone screen locks, requiring you to go back into the app and reconnect. not as useful as I'd hoped. in the current state it's in, not worth it.

Works but not a good job explaining

So if you get the error that does not work when AirPlay, Restrictions or screen mirroring is active, you need to go to the settings, go to content restrictions and allow screen recording. This is a hidden setting, I found this out through some Google sleuthing, not available anywhere in app docs which is why I docked a star
