Ratings and Reviews
Great Timer
The best tabata/interval timer for iOS. Great design, fast and straightforward. The sounds are simple and polished without being stupid.
I'd absolutely love it if the designer were able to add a super simple, super clean, totally optional way to save a few routines as presets. I love the clean, simple interface; but I find myself frequently fiddling with the times throughout my workout, which over the course of months, begins to feel a little frustrating. Wish there was some simple, elegant way to add this without compromising the clean interface, because it would add a bunch of functionality.
Aside from this common complaint, the app is great. Five stars!
Exceptional support!
I have been using and loving Bit Timer for years. The user interface is elegantly simple and the app does exactly what I want it to do without being bloated by features I don’t care about.
But now, I’m here to talk about Peiter’s fast and effective response to a display problem I suddenly began having a few weeks ago. Short story: I emailed Peiter and described the problem; he emailed me back with a couple of questions; and in no time he had traced the problem to a bold-text IOS update. And then he fixed the problem!! If only everybody else in my life were like Peiter!!

Thanks for the kind worlds! Glad to
hear you are enjoying bit timer!
Updates missed some basics
I have loved this app for years and use it for AMRAP time as well as intervals. Since the update the max ‘work’ time has lowered to 6:00minutes. I can no longer do 12m workouts without making a work-around. Minor inconvenience. What is the most upsetting with the update is I can’t leave the app open and watch time any longer because it significantly reduces the music volume. Really disappointing. It’s not clear if a subscription fixes the volume issue like it would the work time limits. I can’t imagine needing 60 repeats 😂 but they added that in.
Developer Response ,
Thanks for the feedback and long time support!
Re: reduced audio volume from other apps - we've tracked the issue down and expect to ship an update shortly to alleviate the problem.
UPDATE: v3.0.2 went live today and it should address the audio volume issue. If not, please let us know so we gan figure out whats going on. https://www.bittimer.com/frequently-asked-question
