Features at a glance
Find out whether your email accounts have been leaked. Is your account still private? Simply validate your email address with the app and Bitdefender for NETGEAR Armor will run a check to discover if your privacy has been breached and let you know if it’s time to change passwords.
The Anti-Theft module features its own dashboard in the NETGEAR Up app that allows you to remotely locate, lock and wipe your iPhone. This way, you will make sure that whatever is stored on your device remains inaccessible to other people. Can’t find your iPhone? Lock it remotely to make sure nobody else takes a peek at your photos and private messages. Wipe your device remotely to permanently delete sensitive files and restore to factory settings.
To use this app, log in with the account you created when you activated NETGEAR Armor on your router.

I installed this along with the Orbi App, I really wanted this to work but only ended up being disappointed. I even just walked away from it for a day in hopes that I was too tired and frustrated with it. Nope! You would expect more from these two companies: very basic, doesn’t really do anything, no way to dismiss an alert, for example I installed it June of 2019 and it gave me an alert that my DropBox account may have been compromised and I should change my password. Date of alert... sometime in 2016. Now it just sits there and never goes away.
Don’t get me started on the Orbi App and how it works with Armor. Short Answer: It doesn’t!
Come on guys and gals you can do much better then this!
What does it do?
The interface is extremely counter intuitive but, after a long fight with the purchase screens, I got everything I could find installed and enabled.
Now I’m trying to figure out what functionality I got for my money that I didn’t already have. Still looking.
A few simple sentences describe what it does would be helpful.
After several exchanges with support, I’m still not sure what, if anything, it is doing. The Netgear Orbi web interface says it is “disabled” but Armor support says it is working. Not all my devices are listed. All that are say that they haven’t been “scanned”, whatever that means. It flagged 18 emails on one of my devices but doesn’t indicate why. The emails are only identified by internal file name.
