finally, Virus software that works and doesn’t tank your system

Someone actually hacked into my iPhone so don’t think it can’t happen to you just because Apple leads you to believe that their products aren’t Hackable that may be true with their computers but all cell phones have several back doors. I had five keyloggers on my iPhone 13 Pro Max deleted everything on it and sold it bought an iPhone 15 Pro Max, loaded this software and changed passwords now my digital life is quiet and my phone isn’t too hot to pick up like my iPhone 13 Pro Max, which is a crappy phone by the way don’t buy one but this review isn’t about iPhone it’s about Bitdefender, choose what Norad and the NSA uses. although I’m sure their programs are much deeper, this feels lightweight, but sturdy

What am I paying for?

The account security feature seems useless. I say that because when there is a data breach and your info is compromised and found on the dark web the app is supposed to let you know so you can take action. I have been notified 4 or more times by my bank about my personal information being found on the dark web due to different data breaches in the last two years. Bitdefender account security has been dead silent. Every time my account security is checked it tells me my info is safe and that I haven’t been found in any data breaches. I opened a ticket with customer service and they responded once with an email that gave me instructions that could not be followed because there was no way to do what they said to do. I have contacted them two more times and have not received any response. As a result I no longer trust the brand and will not purchase their products again. It appears that I paid for a product for two years that actually does nothing. Think twice before pulling the trigger on a purchase with this company. Get something that actually works and save yourself time, money, aggravation and potentially the loss of important personal information that could lead to identity theft and fraud.

Good VPN but constant WiFi issues

Bitdefender on PC works flawlessly for me, however, using it on iOS seems to be buggy. It’s nice to see it blocking ads in Apps that I never knew was reaching out to potentially malicious servers. The VPN also works well. My biggest issue is with the constant interference with WiFi connections. Sometimes WiFi would be working fine and then out of no where it stops resolving websites. The fix has always been to disable and then reenable WiFi. The problem is that there is no indication that WiFi is having issues until you try to open a web-based app or browse the web and notice it isn’t working. I honestly think the culprit is with the web protection feature in Bitdefender cutting off all web traffic inadvertently. I’ve been using the app with that feature disabled and haven’t had any issue in a few days now so I’m pretty convinced this was causing my issue. Hopefully this gets resolved in the near future as I really do like their security software overall, I just can’t recommend it to anyone in its current state.
