Completely usless

So this came with the antivirus package and after switching from kaspersky their vpn will not connect to my works wifi and there is nothing I can do to fix it after going through bitdefender support. This wouldn’t be a big deal except that kaspersky vpn can connect, nord vpn can connect, proton vpn can connect. So to be selling a service that is more finicky than any other would also make one wonder where else can it not connect and become 100% useless. They seem to have more support articles on connection issues than others too so doesn’t look like it is just me.

Bitdefender VPN versus BD Mobile Security

You used to have to choose. You could not have both, but now can, thanks to VPN “Hydra”. Both work well. So now you can jump geofences all around the world. While being protected against DNS hacks (I use Google’s DNS both for IPv4 and IPv6) and other types of malicious behavior. Keep your kids safe. Ensure this is fully operational on your kids devices. The Adblock feature doubles or triples your speed and cuts your data usage by 60-80%. You hit an occasional wall telling you that to see their merchandise or content you must allow unblocked transmission. That’s a case by case decision. Most the time I send them to Cyber-Jail. Cool app, this Hydra VPN! Google “Hydra”, the many- headed monster. Apt name for this app!

Not reliable

So ive had a multitude of problems with this app,
the vpn occasionally randomly disconnects without any notice,
when i connect to wifi its hit or miss whether it will automatically connect
If it does automatically try to connect it frequently just locks up and wont let me use the internet while just doing nothing until i go to the vpn settings in my device’s setting and stop things there, the app is useless when it gets like that and it happens frequently enough that its really annoying, frequently being like every few weeks not every day
There are also occasions where the vpn is super slow and i dont see a way to tell it to find somewhere else in the same area, and i know its the vpn because if i disconnect then the slowness goes away
