Good but…

Recently came to iPhone from Samsung. Used to use Aegis but it’s not available on iOS sadly. I already use Bitwarden so when I seen their new Auth app I had to try it. 2FAS and now this one I think are the 2 best Auth apps on here. I do like it and it’s pretty good for being new but I’d like to see the whole UI match between their 2 apps and for each of my tokens to have it’s corresponding providers icon instead of all of them having a globe icon. Also I agree with another persons review, I think it should require my Face ID every time I go back into it not just after the whole app is closed.

Is there going to be back-up?

Is a back-up system (iCloud Drive or something) going to be put in place?

Why does it not just directly connect to Bitwarden to sync those stored there? Why the export and import process for Bitwarden?

How about an export and import for Twilio’s authenticator app?

Use caution export/import

I did an export of my bitwarden vault and then import into Bitwarden Authenticator. It dropped 3 accounts without even warning. I caught this by manually counting how many entries were in Bitwarden Authenticator and realized I was 3 short. After hours of comparing I found the 3 missing and noticed all 3 had spaces in the TOTP key. Although these TOTP entries work in Bitwarden password manager, they did not transfer over using the export/import feature. There should be a confirmation as to what was a success and what was failed. Yikes!!! If anyone would have done this and then wiped out their original source of where the TOTP codes were kept they would be locked out of these accounts!!
