This is a wonderful tool for rethinking one's relationship to shopping. Becoming mindful of our buying habits really helps break the cycle of consuming new things for a momentary feeling of excitement, then needing a new thing, then another. What makes this work beautifully for me is the way it doesn't shame the user for anything, and when you enter things, you're given credit for keeping up your mindful shopping habits.

The simple act of quickly taking note of what you want to buy lowers the urge or desire to buy it immediately. There’s no shame or lessons — it’s a simple brake for impulse spending. Simple, but so well designed. It’s easy enough to use that you actually use it.

I’m a big fan of the Stoic app (same company) and was really excited for this app when I saw it as I already use a budget and finances app (Copilot) but getting a number for how much I save by NOT buying things is really appealing. If yall could add a widget or set of widgets that would be incredible. Stoic has some phenomenal widgets and I’d love to see what you could add for this!
