Ratings and Reviews
Not enough ratings.
So you only check what the O2 is once or twice per night. Not enough for what I am paying for it. You should be checking it every couple of hours to get a good picture of what is going on. So if you don’t change that, I’ll be looking for a different app next time. UPDATE: Thank you for answering my questions. It helped me understand why there’s such a difference from night to night. And during the day. It only registers when there is no movement, every 30 minutes. Maybe they could have it check every 15 minutes to give a person, who moves a lot at night, a better idea of their night.
Developer Response ,
Hi!
Night measurements are automatic and carried out by the original Apple Health app. Unfortunately, they are still very dependent on the level of activity you have during your sleep. So far, using Apple technology, to take measurements you need to remain motionless for 15 seconds. Such measurements are carried out every 30 minutes. Alas, at night we cannot control our movements and if they are registered, their measurement is considered unsuccessful and is not recorded, everything is like during the day. If you have questions or ideas how to improve this technique, please contact Apple Tech Support.
Alert Function doesn’t have notifications with sound /vibrations
Thought that this would cover Apples gap of not being able to get immediate notifications on low blood oxygen. It did provide a “banner “ notification - but would not provide immediate notification for actions. Need to have a sound or vibrating alerts on IPhone or IWatch … like with all the advertising that hits our watches. I use a CPAP and supplemental O2. However, when I fall asleep without putting my medical equipment on my blood O2 can drop to 78%. On a recent plane trip I fell asleep and was between 84 to 78% oxygen for an extended timeframe. I needed an oxygen alarm to wake me up. Tried to notify the supplier of this app to see if I was doing something wrong - but it was tough to get information back about this item. I have cancelled the subscription. If this app can provide the required alarm / alert … it would be worth the $25 cost
No response … garage App … deleted already
Sleep apnea
I wear a CPAP mouth appliance nightly, unable to use the CPAP breathing machine. The appliance is supposed to do what the machine does, but in my case, my sleep apnea got worse. My doctor said to wear a watch that had the Blood Oxygen App on it to log when my oxygen drops. It’s amazing seeing how accurate the recordings are using the blood Oxygen App, now I can call the doctor and let them now exactly when it’s happening with my percentage reading. Very easy to use and helpful.
Developer Response ,
Thank you for your feedback! We’re so glad the app is making it easier to track and share your blood oxygen levels with your doctor. Knowing it’s helping you manage your sleep apnea is incredibly rewarding for us. Stay healthy, and we’re here to support you along the way!❤️
