Description

Bloom is the easiest & most affordable way to learn the ropes of therapy. Train your mind with personalized daily mental health education. We've made videos that help teach skills to manage stress and anxiety, improve sleep, build better habits, foster stronger relationships and improve one's quality of life.

We work with experts who are fluent in cognitive-behavioral-therapy (CBT). (More about why we chose CBT below). Bloom combines interactive video classes with journaling and mindfulness exercises to help you work on your mental well-being, change your mood & cultivate more joy in life.

HOW DOES BLOOM WORK?
Bloom is your personalized journey to a healthy state of mind. Bloom combines digital programs, guided journaling, and emotional analysis to give you a new hyper-personalized digital therapy experience. Through guided video classes, you will learn new self-care practices to cultivate more joy, happiness, and positivity in your life. Improve your personal well-being, manage stress & anxiety and feed your emotional health.

WHERE IS THE CONTENT COMING FROM?
All our classes are science-backed and bring you the latest research in mental health. Every video is designed & developed by a leading clinical therapist and best-selling author on CBT, Seth Gillihan, PhD.

IS BLOOM SECURE?
Your safety & security are our #1 priorities. All journaling entries are encrypted and saved in the cloud. Nothing is seen by humans. None of your training data is shared with third-parties or outside partners.

IS BLOOM EFFECTIVE?
The team at Bloom understand how helpful cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) can be for folks who need to improve their mental well being. We focus on teaching about CBT because outside research shows, again and again, that it the most effective form of therapy to improve mental well-being for the vast majority of folks who experience symptoms of mild to moderate anxiety or depression. Studies show that patients can get the benefits of learning CBT techniques without an in-person therapist. Bloom gives users the power to learn about mental health in a guided & self-directed way at their own pace.

WHAT USERS SAY
Bloom is considered a cheaper and more accessible option:
“Not everybody has access or can afford a therapist. This is like a therapist in my pocket. Personalized but still private.”
“I love that I can do it at my own time and I don’t have to feel awkward talking to a stranger about my life.”
“It’s an easy and private discrete thing, no one even has to know!”

DO NOT USE BLOOM IF....
CBT and digital options like Bloom aren't a fit for everybody. If you're suffering from severe depression or anxiety, Bloom education alone may not be the right choice for you. Bloom cannot and does not diagnose, only a medical provider can do that. If you are in need of a treatment plan, please seek care under the supervision of a medical professional. We are not a clinic, nor are we a medical device. We hope that you get the treatment you need.

WHEN SHOULD I USE CBT?
CBT can help people with depression by giving you tools to challenge the negative thoughts and override them with more realistic and positive thought processes. CBT is also used to help many more psychological problems. In some cases, other forms of therapy used at the same time may be recommended for best results.

DOES IT WORK FOR TRAUMA?
If you have been diagnosed with PTSD, your provider may have suggested CBT. But if you were diagnosed with cPTSD (complex PTSD), your medical professional may prefer you to use a DBT program. At this time, Bloom does not offer DBT.

Incremental change will lead the way

I am so glad then I came across bloom, I’ve read about CBT , but much like physical therapy , mental exercise is similar . Its not effective unless you practice. Bloom helps you practice in incremental as well as larger steps. The beautiful thing about Bloom , is that you are in control of when and how you develop that beautiful relationship with yourself. Every time I log on and have a session I feel better . I may feel good when I log on or I may feel another emotion , not as good. But I always feel better and have gotten a few steps closer to knowing myself on a deeper level . I can look back and chart my progress as well as feel it. Bloom gives you more tools to deal with life and all the anxieties and stressful events as well as let you know just how often you feel really good or not and why . Through journaling you work out and work through the many triggers for emotions and relearn new , more healthy ways to deal with them . Even if you know what the problem is , and we all have a good idea what it is , we may not know how to implement the solution . By incremental change we can do it , by owning your responsibility for your own happiness and making the changes …. with a little nudge from the wonderful real people at Bloom …

To the Bloom team
Thank you so much , you can take a bow for all you do for you , and the ripple effect it causes in so many lives ….

Commit to Bloom

I can’t say enough good things about Bloom CBT. I’ve been struggling with intense panic attacks/ panic disorder for several years as well as depression to the point where I have not been able to drive my own car. Like many, 2020 brought out more of these symptoms and it was difficult to cope. I did not have immediate access to a good psychologist and so I started drowning in work, family, marriage and health problems.

That said. I started using Bloom and it has greatly helped in all aspects of my life. I’ve been able to start my day with CBT and I also write my takeaways from Bloom in a journal. I use this time in the mornings to set my intentions for the day and start on a positive note. The writing exercises have helped me realize my thought patterns and how I can make small adjustments in many areas. Also, the breathing exercises have helped me to re-learn how to breath properly and remind myself to breath when experiencing any anxious thoughts/feelings. After I finish my Bloom session, I exercise via bike riding or something else. A combination of cardio and strength training.

If you are drowning in depression, anxiety and daily pressure, use Bloom each day to stay positive and work on yourself. Put in the work and watch how much progress you can make in a short time.

I want to use this app your lifetime payment is overboard.

I’m new to the app and want to use for self care, and take control of my mental health. Unlike people who can’t take care of themselves it may be tough doesn’t mean it’s the end of the road for them, and as for myself I want to take control of my mental health, depression, and take care of my self, especially during these hard times in the middle of the pandemic.

I want to get access to using this app and I have to pay unfortunately. What’s up with developers making people pay monthly or yearly? No offense, could you make the app one time payment instead of different payment options? No one is going to buy $399 app when it’s purpose to use for mental health, self care, and taking control of your mental illness in healthy ways. The price is ridiculous. At least make the in app purchase for this app a one time payment than monthly, yearly payment. Make it $25 or $30. Wouldn’t it be fair if it’s not overpriced and something people can afford? People wants to use mental health apps for self care, their mental health, and their overall well being not pay a lot of money.

I want to get lifetime access and don’t want to pay yearly or monthly. Seriously…think of the real purpose for people using the app. Don’t make it overly expensive and make it affordable as I mention $25 or $30. You can do better than having to pay $399.
