Used to be easier
My daughter received the gaming kit for christmas two years ago and at the time, bloxels builder was the app. As with many of my kids gifts, they play for a minute then put away for a year or two and want to get in to it. With newer a ipad, we couldn’t find the builder app but see there is this app. Now it has a subscription fee? Yes, we were able to skip the sub fee by refistering for personal account but that initself was a big hastle. And, once downloaded, it wouldn’t even open. Back to the old mostly broken ipad, the app seems to download and open just fine but as I said, the old ipad is mostly broken. Had we known that bloxels would change to subscription model and the app doesn’t even appear to work on newer ipads, we would not have bought the gamer kit.
Just to help let you know what kind of person this is coming from, I’m 15 years old at the time of writing this. My honest opinion? Really beautiful app, it looks so amazing and so easy to use too. I see really unbelievable games and such being made from this. Unfortunately though, that’s only from what I could SEE, as I can’t experience the building games part myself. I tried to sign up for a personal account, only to see I had to make a $20 purchase to do so, and well, I just can’t do that. It really makes me upset because I see this is more of something for teachers to use, and I just kinda really wish there was an app like this one for everybody to use, without having to pay. Oh well I guess, but again, looked fun. Thank you for reading.
Can you make this a little better?
Bloxels is super cool and fun. It’s cool that you can make a game without coding!! But the problem is that I already paid for the starter kit and it now asks to pay for an account? I just want to build a simple game and I have to pay for just an account??
If you could release another update like to not pay for an account most people would be happy!!
